Silhouettes

I decided to use silhouettes of the band cut out from the real photos as it was too much to ask Louise to do all the drawings I needed. Also the quality wasn't good when her illustrations were so small. I used Photoshop to do this :


The polygonal Lasso tool is used to cut round the figure


After cutting round the figure, I "selected inverse" and then deleted the background. I had to first change the background to a layer


I then filled the figure with Black and saved the image as a Tiff file as it preserves transparency


Below are all the photos we took and the silhouettes I produced from them. In the end I didn't really need so many, but it helped me progress anyway.
